The 11th International Meeting of Asian Society of Conservation Medicine (ASCM) will be a joint conference with Wildlife Disease Association Australasia (WDAA) this year in Bali, Indonesia. ASCM initiated the collaboration with WDA in the annual convention since 2014 when the society first organized the joint session on Rabies disease in Hanoi, Vietnam. The society continues the joint sessions in Yangon Zoological Garden, Myanmar, as well as in Taipei Zoo, Taiwan in the subsequent years emphasising on infectious and zoonotic diseases. In 2018, it is a great honour to join our annual convention with WDAA that provides a great opportunity to both sides of the members to join each other sessions. We foresee the joint meeting will initiate more upcoming collaborations, create and enhance the networking among both organizations. Several post-workshops will be organized in collaboration with the zoos in Asia for the advancement of the zoo and wildlife medicine, management and conservation medicine in this region. What’s more, Bali Island offers the most strategic convention venue with its beautiful nature and unique culture. On behalf of the ASCM, I wish to invite you to join us in Bali, Indonesia and thank you for your support and participation in making the Joint Meeting of the ASCM and WDAA a success.
